My GG Grandmother, Susan Pyron was the wife of Benjamin E. Harris. They had 15 children, one of whom was my Great Grandfather, William Taylor Harris.

Susan Frances Harris and husband Thomas J. Cook. Susan Frances Harris was a daughter of Benjamin E. Harris and Susan Pyron, and a sister to my Great Grandfather, William Taylor Harris. I am told that this photo was taken of them in front of their new house (still under construction) near Dill, Washita County, Oklahoma. To the right and rear is the sod house they had been living in prior to the construction of this newer house.
This photo of Susan Frances Harris and husband Thomas J. Cook appears to have been taken a few years later at the same location as the previous photo.
Henry Clay Harris, son of Benjamin E. Harris and Susan Pyron, was brother to my Great Grandfather, William Taylor Harris. This photo was taken at the dedication of a marker placed in his memory by the United Daughters of the Confederacy in November, 2001. This photo was graciously provided to me by his descendant, Norma Stewart Ford.

John Benjamin Harris was the son of Thomas Johnson Harris, who was in turn a son to Benjamin Harris and Susan Pyron, and a brother to Henry Clay Harris and William Taylor Harris. Thomas Johnson Harris was married to Levinia Ann Sikes. Their son, John Benjamin Harris, was married to Mary Jane Elliott.
Thomas Benjamin Harris (1870-1936) & wife Dora Anna Samantha Bevil (1875-1960) - Thomas was son of Henry Clay Harris (1845-1921), who was brother to William Taylor Harris.
Roy James Harris, Sr. (1896-1973) Submitted by cousin and researcher Vance Harris, he says "This is a picture of my Great Grandfather Roy James Harris Sr (son of James Calvin Harris M.D and grandson of Henry Clay Harris). It was taken while he was stationed at Fort Gordon (the picture says Atlanta but is probably Augusta) during World War I. The picture is dated April 15, 1918." Click here to see Vance's website.

Martha Harris Johnson and Barbara Coleman - Martha is the Granddaughter of William Taylor Harris and Martha Frances Jones (Martha was named after her grandmother). Barbara is wife of David H. Coleman, Jr., who is a Great Grandson of William Taylor Harris and Martha Frances Jones.

Arvella Curry and husband James Walter Harris, early 1925. Arvella was the youngest child of Milledge Emory Bonam Currie and Mary Ardella Phillips.
Photo taken in 1914 of Beulah Curry, husband William Henry Griswell, and at that time three of their children - Henry Durall Griswell, Elmo Pershing Griswell & Margaret Rachel Griswell. These three were born in Georgia. Beulah Curry was the second oldest child born to Milledge Emory Bonam Currie and Mary Ardella Phillips.
